Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 11 October 2026

These terms explain the rules for using fanbound.co.uk, buying our digital products and working with us as a creator, including through FanBound - Signature. Please read them before you use the site or buy from us. If you do not agree with them, please do not use our services.

1. About FanBound

FanBound ("FanBound", "we", "us", "our") is the trading name of Mr Jake T. Sutton, a sole trader based in Wales, United Kingdom. We are not a limited company and we are not VAT-registered, so we do not add VAT to our prices.

Address: 95B Pontmorlais, Merthyr Tydfil, CF47 8UH, United Kingdom
Email: jakesutton@fanboundsupport.com
Phone: 07378 570833

2. What we do

We work with online content creators ("Creators") to plan, design and produce digital products, such as ebooks, PDF guides and how-to guides, that Creators can sell to their own audience. For Creators, our services can include:

We also sell our own digital products directly to customers: the Organic & Generic Marketing Guide, the Organic & Custom Marketing Guide and the Ad-Based & Custom Marketing Guide (together, our "Campaign Guides").

In these terms, "you" means anyone using our website, buying from us or working with us, and "Services" means our website, our digital products and our Creator services, including Signature.

3. These terms

By using our Services you agree to these terms. If you are buying as a consumer (for your own use, not for a business), you also have legal rights under UK consumer law. Nothing in these terms takes those rights away.

We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how we work. The version on this page when you use the Services is the one that applies. If you are a Creator with an ongoing agreement, we will tell you by email before any important change affects you. Changes will not apply to a purchase you have already made.

You must be 18 or over to enter into a Creator agreement or a Signature agreement with us. If you are under 18, you may only buy our products with the permission of a parent or guardian.

4. Working with us as a creator

Enquiries. Sending us an enquiry, filling in our form or having an initial call does not commit either of us to anything. It starts a conversation.

Your Creator agreement. Before we start work on a product with you, we will both sign a separate written agreement. It sets out the revenue split, who owns the product, timings and what each of us is responsible for. If you choose Signature, you sign a Signature agreement instead. In these terms, "Creator agreement" includes a Signature agreement. If anything in these terms conflicts with your signed agreement, your agreement takes priority.

Fees and revenue split. Our standard Creator partnership has no upfront fee. Instead, the money from sales of the product is shared between FanBound and you, after any platform transaction fees have been deducted. The standard split is 50/50 unless a different split is agreed in writing in your Creator agreement. Your share is paid into your own Whop account. Signature has its own fees and split, set out in section 5.

How long it runs. Unless your Creator agreement says otherwise, a standard partnership product sells for 12 months from launch. What happens after that, for example taking it off sale, renewing or buying the product from us, is set out in your Creator agreement.

Approvals. Nothing that shows your name, face or voice goes live without your approval. We will send drafts to you by email. Please reply within the time we ask (48 hours on Signature) so your timeline stays on track. If an approval or upload is late, the timeline pauses until we have it.

Your content. When you send us photos, videos, voice notes, text or other materials to use in your product, you confirm that:

If someone makes a claim against us because content you supplied breaks the law or infringes their rights, you agree to cover the reasonable losses and costs we suffer as a result.

Honest promotion. When you promote a product we have made with you, please make it clear that it is your own paid product, and do not promise results, income or body changes, or make medical claims. Our products never make weight-loss, medical or money-making claims.

5. FanBound - Signature

Signature is our paid premium service. We build a premium product around your expertise, set it up on a Whop storefront branded with your name and look, and, if you continue after your first month, keep it fresh with new content every month. Your Signature agreement sets out the full details. This section summarises the main points.

Waitlist and payment. You can join the Signature waitlist on Whop. We only take your payment once you and we have both signed your Signature agreement.

Price. Signature costs £299 to start. This covers a £200 set-up and your first month, which runs for 30 days from launch day.

Getting started. Once you have paid, you get a welcome package and our Signature questionnaire straight away. We then plan your product with you in a kick-off meeting. Set-up normally takes about two weeks from the kick-off call to launch day.

Monthly subscription. About one to two weeks after launch, we send you a link to a separate £99-a-month Signature subscription on Whop, if you want to continue. Your first £99 is taken when your first month ends, 30 days after launch day, so you never pay twice for the same month. After that it is paid monthly in advance. It is rolling monthly: you can cancel any time in your Whop account, and it stops at the end of the month you have paid for. We do not refund part months. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change.

Each month you continue, we send you a short set of check-in questions, hold a strategy meeting with you on Google Meet, send you an updated plan to approve and add fresh content to your storefront. You can move a meeting once a month with 24 hours' notice. A missed meeting does not change the monthly fee.

Revenue split. On Signature, you get 60% of every sale after Whop's fees, paid into your own Whop balance, and FanBound gets 40%.

Your storefront. FanBound owns and runs your Signature storefront. You get view-only access so you can see your sales and members at any time.

Ending Signature. If three monthly meetings in a row are missed, or we do not hear from you for 30 days, we may end the arrangement with 14 days' notice. When Signature ends, for any reason, new sales stop within 30 days and you still get your 60% of any sales during that time. Buyers who have already paid keep access until the end of what they paid for. Your photos, videos and voice are then removed from the product.

6. Buying our digital products

Our products are sold through Whop, which handles payment and delivery. Prices are shown in pounds at the point of sale. Your contract with us is formed when your payment is confirmed.

What you get.

Launch prices. Where we show a launch price, we also show the date it ends, and the price moves to the stated full price on that date.

Creator storefronts. If you buy a creator's product from a storefront we run for them under Signature, you are buying from FanBound, and these terms apply to your purchase.

When you buy a product, you get a personal, non-transferable licence to download, read and use it for your own purposes. You may not copy, share, resell or redistribute it, in whole or in part, without our written permission.

7. Cancellation, refunds and faulty products

Your right to cancel. As a consumer, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. For digital content, this right ends once the download or access begins, as long as you agreed to this at checkout. By completing your purchase and choosing to access the product straight away, you agree that delivery starts immediately and you acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once the content has been delivered. This applies to the Organic & Generic Marketing Guide.

Custom guides. When you buy a custom guide, you get our welcome package and questionnaire straight away, then we plan your guide with you in a meeting you book using the link provided. We then build your guide around your answers. If you cancel within 14 days of buying, you may have to pay for the work we have already done. Once your finished guide has been delivered, you can no longer cancel, as long as you asked us to start straight away and accepted this when you bought.

Signature. Your £299 is fully refundable up to launch day, unless set-up has been on hold for more than 30 days waiting on you and you have not responded to a final warning from us. From launch day, the £299 is not refundable. The £99 monthly subscription is refundable within 14 days of your first subscription payment only. Nothing in these Signature refund rules reduces any rights you have by law.

Faulty products. If a product is faulty, will not download, or is not as described, email us at jakesutton@fanboundsupport.com. We will repair or replace it, or, if we cannot, give you a refund or partial refund, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Please do not make a chargeback or refund claim for a product that has been delivered as described without contacting us first.

8. Intellectual property

Our content. The text, designs, logo, graphics, guides and templates on our website and in our products belong to us or are licensed to us. You may view and share our web pages, but please do not copy, republish or adapt them for commercial use without asking us first.

Products we create with Creators. Unless your Creator agreement says otherwise, FanBound owns the intellectual property in the products it creates, including the product system and templates, apart from the materials you supply, which stay yours (see below). On Signature, FanBound also owns and runs the storefront.

Your materials. You keep ownership of your name, face, voice, photos, videos and other materials you supply to us. You give us permission to use them to create, promote and sell the product we make with you while our agreement runs, and for as long as existing buyers have access to what they have paid for.

Our work for others. We may make products for other Creators, including in the same niche, and reuse our own templates, designs and writing. We never reuse your photos, name, face, voice or other materials for anyone else.

Feedback. If you send us suggestions or ideas about how to improve our Services, we may use them freely without paying you. This does not apply to the materials you supply for your own product.

9. AI and your likeness

We use software and AI tools to help us draft and design products, and we review everything before it is sent to you or sold. We never use AI to copy your voice or face without your separate written consent.

If you give that consent, we use it only for your FanBound product, your followers are always told when AI has been used, and you can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. When you withdraw it, we stop making new AI content of you and remove existing AI content of you from your product within 30 days.

10. Showing our work and testimonials

We only show a product we have made with you, or your name, photos or handle, as an example of our work on our website or in our sales material with your permission. You can ask us to remove it at any time and we will do so within 14 days.

Any testimonial we publish is a genuine quote from the person named, used with their permission. If that person is connected to us, for example a friend, or received our services for free, we say so.

11. No guarantee of earnings

Our products, guides and services are designed to help creators earn from their audience, but results depend on many things outside our control, including your audience, niche, pricing, engagement and effort. We do not guarantee any level of sales, income or growth. Any examples on our website or in our guides, including worked examples of the revenue split, are illustrations, not results or forecasts.

12. Using our services properly

When using our Services, you agree not to:

13. Third-party platforms and links

Our products are sold through third-party platforms such as Whop, calls are booked through Google Calendar and held on Google Meet, and our enquiry form is run by Google. Your use of those platforms is covered by their own terms, fees and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability, fees or actions, or for the content of other websites we link to. Whop is an independent platform and does not endorse FanBound.

14. Availability and changes

We try to keep our website available and its information accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise it will always be either. We may change, update or withdraw parts of our website or products. If we make a mistake on the site, such as a pricing error, we will correct it and, if it affects an order you have placed, contact you before going ahead.

15. Our responsibility to you

What we never exclude. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including your rights as a consumer.

If you are a consumer. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. Our products are for personal use, so we are not responsible to consumers for lost profit, lost business or business interruption.

If you are a Creator or business user. We will not be liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, data or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you in connection with the Services will not be more than the greater of £100 or the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Your Creator agreement may set out different limits, and if so, those apply.

Events beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as platform outages, internet failures or illness.

16. Suspending or ending access

We may suspend or end your access to our Services if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by sharing or reselling our products. Where reasonable, we will tell you why first. Ending a Creator agreement is covered by the terms of that agreement, and ending Signature is also covered in section 5.

17. Your personal information

We only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why we collect it and your rights.

18. Complaints and disputes

If you are unhappy with anything, please contact us first at jakesutton@fanboundsupport.com. We will try to resolve your complaint quickly and fairly, and we will aim to reply within 14 days.

If we cannot resolve it together, either of us can take the matter to court. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
